Newborns at Home –
One minute you're waddling around debating baby names, the next you're staring at a whole little person who somehow has always belonged to you.
Those first few weeks go so fast it's almost cruel. The tiny fingers curling around yours. The weight of them on your chest. The hazy 3am feeds where you're deliriously tired and completely in love at the same time.
And then, before you've even caught your breath, you're chasing a toddler who's just discovered how to launch spaghetti at the wall.
I come to you, I fit around feeds and naps, and I ask nothing of you except to just be there with your baby. No props, no posing, no trying to make it perfect. The only things I bring are a few soft blankets and twenty years of knowing when to be quiet and when to press the shutter.
Who, What, When, Why?
Who... you, your baby, and whoever else is part of your little world right now. First baby or fifth, this is about documenting what already exists. Not a headband or bucket in sight.
What... relaxed, natural, in your own home. I follow what's happening rather than directing it. Sleepy newborns, tiny toes, the bits in between that you won't even think to notice until you see them in a photo.
When... ideally within the first two weeks while they're still all scrunchy and delicate. But any time before three months works, so don't panic if life got in the way.
Why... because you blink and they've outgrown their first sleepsuit. Because the sleepless nights feel endless but the newborn stage is over in a heartbeat. Because one day you'll want to remember exactly how tiny they once were in your arms.
The Newborn Experience – At a Glance
No session fee... just a £50 retainer to secure your date.
Sessions are in your home, completely led by your baby. Breaks for feeds, naps, and cuddles whenever you need them. I'll send you a prep guide beforehand so you know exactly what to expect.
Collections start at £222 for 20 images. Most parents end up wanting the full gallery, which is £333... and yes, people do mention the angel numbers.
Films are available as an add-on too.
No posing, no rushing, no props. Just you, your baby, and a bit of gentle prompting when you need it. The rest takes care of itself.

A photo freezes a moment. A film lets you live in it again, and again and again.
The tiny chest rising and falling. The fingers curling around yours. That little stretch they do after every feed. The sounds. The softness of it all.
A newborn film is short, quiet, and completely natural... no posing, no props, just your baby in those first weeks, exactly as they are. Something you'll be able to press play on in ten years and be straight back in that room.
Films are available as an add-on to any newborn session. Just ask when you get in touch.

Book while you're still expecting if you can, but I always try to accommodate last-minute bookings too. A £50 retainer secures your date and comes off the total at the end.
I come to you, so there's no getting out the door with a newborn... which, let's be honest, is a full mission in itself. Sessions are completely baby-led with plenty of time for feeds, naps and cuddles. No rush, no agenda.
Afterwards you'll get a private online gallery to pick your favourites from. Collections start at £222 for 20 images, with options to add more. No hidden costs, no pressure.
