"Your Journey to Motherhood –

Beautiful, Honest, and Real"

Maternity Sessions at Home –

By the time we shoot your maternity session, we'll already know each other a bit... a few messages back and forth, maybe a call, and I'll send you a little guide beforehand so you know what to wear and what to expect.

Then I turn up, we have a brew, and we just... get on with it. No grand plan, no elaborate setup. Just you and your partner in your own home, being yourselves.

Some people are completely relaxed from the off. Others stand there a bit like a rabbit in headlights, which is absolutely fine because I've seen it a hundred times and I know exactly what to do with it. Usually something along the lines of... just sit for a moment, stroke your bump, and think about how incredible it's going to be to finally meet the little one who's currently sitting on your bladder.

That normally gets a laugh. And that's when the good photos happen.

Twenty years in, reading people is probably the most important thing I do. Knowing when to prompt, when to step back, when to crack a joke and when to just quietly disappear into the background. Every person is different and every session finds its own rhythm.

Outdoor Maternity Sessions

If you'd rather be outside than in, that works just as well. Same relaxed approach, same no-pressure vibe... just with better light and a bit more fresh air.

I know Cannock Chase well and I've got spots that are easy to get to, because the last thing you need when you're heavily pregnant is a ten minute uphill trek before we've even started. We find somewhere that works for you, and we just... wander and see what happens.

The photos tend to look after themselves.

Who, Why & When?

Who... just you, you and your partner, or the whole family if you've got little ones who want to be part of it. However you want to do it.

Why... because you will miss that bump. Especially if it's your first. It feels like forever while you're in it, but I promise you'll look back and wish you'd captured it.

When... somewhere between 28 and 36 weeks is usually the sweet spot. Big enough to really see, comfortable enough to actually enjoy it. But every pregnancy is different, so if you're earlier or later than that, just get in touch and we'll figure it out.
