No two days, kids, or photography sessions are ever the same.

Every time I meet with a family, I’m captivated by their unique dynamics — the way they look, their personalities, and how they interact with one another. It’s amazing how often families see traits and connections in photos that they hadn’t noticed in person. Many families make these sessions an annual tradition, like marking a child’s height on the kitchen wall. Photos become a wonderful way to capture the changes you might not notice from day to day but suddenly realise over time. This is one of the most rewarding parts of my job — telling the story of your family as it grows over the years.

I’ve had the pleasure of photographing hundreds of families across Staffordshire, Shropshire, Derbyshire, Cheshire, South Yorkshire, and beyond, even reaching as far as Northumbria. Whatever the season — spring, summer, autumn, or winter — nature provides the most beautiful backdrops. And being outdoors is the best way to capture children as they should be: free to run, laugh, and play.
